KOTA KINABALU: Two terrace houses and several vehicles went up in flames at Taman Nipoh in Kolombong, here, Sunday.

Nobody was injured in the fire, destroying an eight-year-old Dmax and a one-tonne lorry.

House owner Tan, 76, said he was showering when he heard crackling noises only to realise that his house was on fire.

Clad in a sarong, the elderly man only salvaged his two handphones before running to safety.
