Walk-in vaccination centres to open for teens starting Thursday | WeirdKaya

PUTRAJAYA – Teenagers aged 12 to 17-years old can now walk in to receive their COVID-19 vaccine. There will be 156 vaccination centres (PPV) available nationwide starting Thursday (Sept 23).

Following the school-reopening , parents raised their concerns about their children’s health. Thus, the Ministry of Health has been planning to speed up the vaccination of teenagers from 12 to 17 years old.

They announced the target of vaccinating 3 million teenagers by 2022. You can read about their plan here:

Distributed by schools

Deputy Minister of Health Datuk Dr Noor Azmi Ghazali said that vaccines will be distributed by schools located close to designated PPVs.
