For the first time, the World Association of Sign Language Interpreters (WASLI) Asia Conference will take place right here in Kuala Lumpur from 31 July to 3 August 2025. The recent endorsement by the Ministry of Human Resources seals the deal: this isn’t just a conference, it’s a national priority.
WASLI, the global force behind this initiative, has been championing sign language interpretation since 2003, with a presence in 56 countries.
