PRN Johor: (Unofficial) Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi wins in Machap

CARETAKER Menteri Besar, Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi, has reportedly won the Machap State Assembly seat.

Onn Hafiz faces a one-on-one battle in his bid to defend the Machap State Assembly seat in the 16th Johor State Election (PRN).

Onn Hafiz, who represents Barisan Nasional (BN), is against Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidate Nur Hafiz Roslan.

Based on unofficial results via the MyUndi website, Onn Hafiz obtained 6,509 votes compared to Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidate, Nor Hafiz Roslan, who obtained 2,393 votes.

So far, a total of 8,902 votes have been counted for the seat.

In the 2022 Johor PRN, Onn Hafiz defended the Machap seat with a majority of 6,543 votes after obtaining 11,029 votes, defeating Perikatan Nasional (PN–PAS) candidate Azlisham Azahar, Muda candidate R. Sangaran and Pejuang's Sharuddin Md Salleh. – July 11, 2026
