Wolves legend Steve Bull says they were deserved winners at Manchester City last week.
He wrote for the Express & Star: "A lot has been said about City's shortcomings on the day by pundits.
"But that was not the story. The story was how good Wolves were against Pep Guardiola's side.
"Wolves set up to stop City from playing to harass them and they carried out the plan flawlessly.
"It is amazing what a week can do in football, isn't it?
"It can knock you down or have you on cloud nine, and, thankfully, we have had the latter after Wolves' wins at Besiktas and City.
"We are playing at the tempo that was there so often last season again.
"We didn't have many chances against Besiktas, but the never-say-die attitude shone through.
"Then at City, we were thinking it was the toughest fixture we could've asked for, but the lads went there in a positive frame of mind and got exactly what they deserved. To a man, they were fantastic."
