Chelsea duo Reece James and Antonio Rudiger are on track for a return to action after the international break.
James was forced to withdraw from England U21 duty on Thursday due to an ankle injury, but he's expected to be back in training next week.
According to the Daily Mail, the injury is not serious.
Rudiger has been injured for most of this season but he posted an update on Thursday on social media of him training at Cobham.
The Blues face Newcastle at Stamford Bridge on October 19.
