Despite the deal for Inter Milan midfielder Ivan Perisic, BILD says Bayern's interest in Coutinho remains alive.
For the moment, Bayern are keeping tabs on the midfielder's situation with the view to making a move in the final days of the summer market.
While Perisic is now in a Bayern shirt, it is Coutinho who has been identified as the prime alternative to crocked Manchester City attacker Leroy Sane.
Bayern's plan is to take Coutinho on a season-long loan, with a willingness to pay 100 per cent of his Barca salary.
