Arsenal have stepped up their interest in Lille attacker Nicolas Pepe.
Sky Italia says Arsenal have made a fresh move for the Ivory Coast international in the last 24 hours.
Napoli were regarded as favourites to land Pepe, with Lille president Gerard Lopez admitting a deal was likely.
However, it's emerged Arsenal have made an improved contract offer to Pepe's minders - superior to what is on the table from Napoli.
Lopez is seeking 80m to sell the striker.
