Real Betis vice-president Jos Miguel Lpez Cataln is delighted with the early impact of Nabil Fekir.
A late summer arrival from Lyon, Fekir has shone in the early weeks of the season. Indeed, Cataln insists the midfielder is a step up from Giovani Lo Celso, who was sold to Tottenham.
He said, "Last year, if something was characterised by Betis it was for having a very compact centre of the field.
"And this year it happens that we have exactly the same players, though instead of Lo Celso we have Fekir, who can be of the same level or better.
"He is a player who has a great impact on the attack."
