Bayern Munich have denied reports of a deal for Manchester City attacker Leroy Sane.
Reports earlier on Thursday suggested that the German international had made the decision to sign for the reigning Bundesliga champions for a fee in excess of 100m (91.2m) and was set to sign either a four or five-year contract.
However, Bayern rubbished those rumours in a short statement released via their social media channels.
"News reports made today stating that Leroy Sane has decided to join FC Bayern do not correspond to the facts," the club said.
Last week, Pep Guardiola reiterated that he wanted the 23-year-old to remain at the club, but admitted that the decision was out of City's hands.
