Senior Burnley defenders Charlie Taylor and Ben Gibson both played a full 90 against Blackburn Rovers yesterday.
Gibson was on the scoresheet alongside Matej Vydra, who also played the full game at the Brockhall Academy which ended 2-2 as Rovers levelled with the last kick of the match.
Taylor and Gibson were both given extended run-outs to top up their match fitness ahead of Saturday's Premier League opener against Southampton at Turf Moor.
Both have missed game-time during the pre-season programme due to minor knocks.
And having started last Saturday's win over Parma when both featured for almost 70 minutes the defensive duo got the benefit of a full 90 in front of watching boss Sean Dyche and his first-team staff.
