PETALING JAYA: Some 1.9 million vehicles are expected to travel via the North-South Expressway throughout the Hari Raya Aidiladha period until July 12, NST reports.
Plus Malaysia Bhd chief operating officer Datuk Zakaria Ahmad Zabidi said the rise in the number of vehicles was expected to cause congestions and prolong travel time for road users.
He advised highway users to adhere to the Travel Time Advisory (TTA) issued by Plus to plan their journeys and make preparations before hitting the road.
Zakaria advised highway users from the Klang Valley heading towards destinations such as Perlis, Kedah, Penang, Perak and Johor between July 7 and July 10 to enter the highway before 10am.
