10 Minutes Effortless Crispy Fish Fingers

Who doesn’t love fish fingers? Well most of us do. You can make them easily in the comfort of your home. Well, the fish to choose will depend on you, as long as it is boneless. Here is an easy and Effortless Crispy Fish Fingers recipe.

Ingredients

For marination

  • 300 grams boneless fish (any type) cut into 3/4 inch in width and 3 inches in length
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Flour Mixture

  • ⅔ cup plain flour
  • ½ teaspoon oregano
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 eggs lightly beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 cups oil for frying

Method

  1. Take a big bowl and put the sliced fish in it. Then add salt, black pepper, chilli, garlic and coriander powder into it.
  2. Finally, add lemon juice and mix well. Leave the fish to marinate for at least 45 minutes.
  3. Now to prepare the flour mixture, take a medium-sized bowl and add flour, oregano, salt, black pepper and garlic powder. Mix well and keep aside.
  4. Put 2 lightly beaten eggs in a bowl. Keep aside.
  5. Take a plate and spread 1 cup of breadcrumbs. Keep aside too. Now put the flour bowl, in the 1st position, eggs in the 2nd position and finally the breadcrumbs in the 3rd position.
  6. To assemble the fish fingers, start with a slice of fish to be coated in the flour, then into the eggs and finally on to the breadcrumbs. Coat well.
  7. Now fry them in medium heat until it becomes golden brown. Continue doing so until you finish all the fish slices. Done! Enjoy your delicious Crispy Fish Fingers!
