TAWAU: Kukusan Assemblywoman Datuk Rina Jainal is leaving her political fate to the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) leadership in the coming 17th State Election (PRN17), set to take place this year.
“I will follow the decision of the top leadership,” she said when asked whether she was expected to be renominated.
She said she would prefer to contest under the GRS banner and was not bound to any specific party symbol, as all component parties operate under the GRS coalition.
She was also asked whether she would be affiliated with Parti Harapan Rakyat Sabah (PHRS) or Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS), following speculation on social media that she might contest under the PBS ticket.
