
SANDAKAN: The Malaysian Cooperative Institute (IKMa) is planning to open several more IKMa branches in Ipoh (Perak), Kuala Terengganu (Terengganu), Miri (Sarawak) and Tawau (Sabah).
IKMa Tawau branch had been operating since January this year in Apas.
The Deputy Director General of Human Capital Development of the Malaysian Cooperative Institute, Mohd Zaib Mat Yunus, said that the opening of IKMa in the area was among other initiatives to ensure that the delivery of information and services continues to be channelled to all levels of society, especially the cooperative movement and cooperative entrepreneurs throughout the country.
