Kota Kinabalu: Some 104 5G sites had completed its development under Phase 1 of the Digital Nasional Berhad (DNB)’s 5G network implementation project in Sabah, as of the third quarter of this year.
The districts involved were the city with 70 completed sites, Penampang (22) and Putatan (12), according to Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk Yakub Khan, in an additional information included in his oral answer during question time at the State Legislative Assembly sitting, Monday.
These sites were part of the 295 sites identified by DNB for the first phase of the project. The rest of the sites are still under development.
