Kota Kinabalu: Eleven illegal immigrants were detained in a mass operation at the Waterfront, a popular entertainment hub here, Wednesday night.
Sabah Immigration Director Sh Sitti Saleha Habib Yusoff said a total of 137 people were screened in the 11.30pm “Ops Gegar” operation involving 41 officers.
She said those detained comprised an Indonesian man, four Filipino men and six Filipino women aged between 22 and 36.
