Kota Kinabalu: Eleven teams participated in the 11th Installation Art by the Bay at Tanjung Aru (Beach 2). Teams from Denmark and Finland presented their works online.
This year’s theme, “Striving for Sustainability,” focused on the importance of upcycling reusable materials to reduce waste and pollution in both landfills and the ocean.
The event was to raise awareness about environmental conservation and the urgent need to tackle waste pollution in order to protect the planet and ensure a clean future for next generations.
Chief Executive Officer of Sri Pelancongan Sabah, Thonny Chee, commended the main organizer, IAKK (Installation Art by the Bay, Kota Kinabalu), for their dedication.
