KUDAT: Sabah Parks and its partners have made history by planting 12,000 coral fragments at Tun Mustapha Park, earning recognition from the Malaysia Book of Records (MBOR).
Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister Datuk Seri Christina Liew officiated the award ceremony on Monday, celebrating the achievement as part of the park’s 9th anniversary at Tun Mustapha Hall here.
She credited the success to the collaborative efforts of over 500 participants - including divers, local communities, NGOs, and private entities - who completed the feat in just four days.
