Sabah’s Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said the increase in cases corresponded with the number of test samples which rose to 2,122 Wednesday from 1,972 on Tuesday, while the positivity rate remained low at 5.89 per cent.

He said Kota Kinabalu topped the list with 34 cases, followed by Tawau (14), Lahad Datu (8), Beaufort (7), Ranau (7) and Sandakan (7).

“Six districts did not record any new cases, namely Beluran, Kuala Penyu, Kunak, Pitas, Semporna and Tongod,” said Masidi in a statement, Wednesday.
