14 Sukma bowlers attend Sarawak Tenpin Championship

Kota Kinabalu: A total of 14 Sukma (Malaysian Games) bound state bowlers are currently competing in the Sarawak International Open Tenpin Bowling Championship 2024 (SIOTBC’24) started on Monday until Saturday (June 15) at Megalanes Sarawak, Batu Kawa, Kuching.

It will be their final tune-up before Sukma scheduled in August to be held at the same venue, and they are set to compete with Sukma athletes from other states who are also there to test the upgraded lanes.

The championship this year offers a total prize worth RM 162,000 with four categories (Open, Classified, Youth (U21, U19, U16 & U13) and Senior) to be contested .

It has also attratced more than 300 bowlers from 11 countries including Singapore, Thailand, Chinese Taipei, the Philippines, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Brunei, Australia, United Kingdom as part of the 600 entries.
