【亞庇卅日訊】沙巴能源委員會在哥隆邦德源集團（Teck Guan Group）附近正式啟用一座15兆瓦的大型太陽能發電廠，以加強沙巴州的能源安全，並推動清潔能源轉型.
該太陽能電廠的裝置容量為22.5兆瓦峰值（MWp），每年可發電約26吉瓦時，足以供應超過7,000戶家庭的用電需求.
沙巴能源委員會指出,這類項目不僅能創造就業機會、培育技術專才，亦有助於推動可持續的工業發展，同時多元化沙巴的能源結構，減少對傳統能源的依賴.
