168 students from Lumadan school get aid from Yayasan Sabah Group

BEAUFORT: Some 168 students from Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Ladang Lumadan here received schooling assistance from Yayasan Sabah Group (KYS) organised by KYS Southern Interior Zone, here.

Assistant Minister to the Chief Minister who is also Lumadan Assemblyman Datuk Ruslan Muharam officiated the handing over programme of Special Assistance Scheme (SBK).

He welcomed the efforts of KYS as it would reduce the burden on parents, whom are all from the B40 group.

At the same time, Ruslan said the initiative also fulfils the aspirations of Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Hajiji Haji Noor to empower the education of Sabah’s local youths and young people.
