Now that we’re halfway through 2025, the exciting slate of upcoming Netflix shows is already piquing our interest. Some highly anticipated releases are right around the corner and they promise to keep the second half of 2025 busy for those with a Netflix subscription.
A lot of the biggest Netflix hits are concluding in 2025. While You season 5 (released on 24 April) and the third season of Squid Game (released on 27 June) are two such prominent titles, which came out in the first half, the second half sees the conclusion of the sci-fi juggernaut Stranger Things and The Sandman. The Duffer Brothers show will return for season 5 in three instalments.
From highly anticipated returns like the Wednesday season 2, releasing on 6 August, to the crime drama Billionaires’ Bunker from the makers of Money Heist, slated to premiere on 19 September, there’s a lot to look forward to.
Additionally, we’re looking forward to a variety of Netflix content which are supposed to be released in 2025, but no exact date has been announced yet. These include Delhi Crime season 3, Emily in Paris season 5, The Diplomat season 3, The Witcher season 4 and the German thriller series Bone Palace.
While the OTT juggernaut keeps rolling out new shows throughout the year, some of the much-awaited upcoming Netflix originals and hit productions have already kept us looking forward to the second half of 2025.
