A 17-year-old youth died and four people were injured as an SUV hit an e-rickshaw near Salem Tabri on Old GT Road here on Sunday, police said.
The victims were coming from the railway station in the e-rickshaw when the accident occurred. The e-rickshaw was badly damaged in the collision, they said.
The deceased was identified as Navjot Singh. A case has been registered against the SUV driver, police added.
