Inter Milan defender Lorenzo Pirola is interesting Manchester United and Manchester City.
FC Inter News says representatives from both clubs have attended group stage games at the Under 17 World Cup in order to keep tabs on Pirola.
The 17-year-old has impressed so far, helping his country reach the knockout stage with wins over Mexico and the Soloman Islands.
He also scored in their 2-1 defeat by Paraguay on Sunday.
United have been eyeing Pirola for longer and had a scout in place against Mexico, while City watched him last weekend.
