Angelino says his career plan was always to return to Manchester City.
The Spanish fullback signed for City from PSV Eindhoven this summer courtesy of a buy-back option.
"I have always had the desire to return to this club," Angelino said on Friday. There was a buy-back clause in my contract with PSV, so I had to make sure I performed last season. I always secretly hoped that Manchester City would bring me back.
My game has improved. I am no longer the player from before," Angelio continued, I look back on a successful period at PSV and hope to be able to continue that trend. Playing in the Champions League was a great experience, it was fantastic. The way Manchester City plays suits me. At PSV we were mostly dominant and that's how I like to play."
