Former Tottenham goalkeeper Michel Vorm is interesting Liverpool.
With No1 Alisson Becker facing eight weeks on the sidelines due to a calf injury, Liverpool are weighing up whether to make another addition.
Currently the Reds have Adrian and Andy Lonergan as their two fit keepers.
Reds keeper coach John Achterberg told NOS, "A good third goalie at a top club is not a superfluous luxury, I have always said this.
"Michel Vorm's arrival has been discussed."
He added, Lonergan has more than 250 matches at Championship level, that cannot to be underestimated."
