Members of the Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT) of the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) were quick to act after a child fainted at a Ramadan bazaar in Arau, Perlis.

JSPT Perlis took to their Facebook page to share how traffic officers administered emergency aid to the child before transporting them to a health clinic for urgent medical attention.

In their post, they wrote:

“Traffic police officers acted quickly and with genuine concern when a child fainted at the Arau Ramadan Bazaar. Emergency aid was successfully administered on the spot.”

“During the incident, Sergeant Sanit and Corporal Zulhaili from the District Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Division (BSPTD) Arau, who were on duty at the time, moved swiftly to provide first aid to the unconscious victim. With a deep sense of responsibility, they then personally took the child to the Kampung Gial Health Clinic for further treatment.”

The officers’ rapid response prevented the situation from escalating. JSPT Perlis noted that the efficiency of the members involved ensured the victim received immediate care, preventing more serious health complications.

“This situation reflects the police force’s continued commitment to maintaining the safety and welfare of the community, especially during the festive season and within crowded public spaces,” they added.
