
PETALING JAYA: Two people were killed while 14 others suffered injuries after a bus they were on overturned on the Karak highway this morning.
Buletin TV3 reported that the bus had 16 people on board, including the driver, and was headed from Kuala Lumpur to Karak.
The fire and rescue department was alerted to the crash at 7.53am.
The victims have been sent to Bentong Hospital.

Read more The accident led to the bus blocking off both lanes headed east on the highway for several hours. Contra lanes were opened to help ease congestion.
According to Astro Radio Traffic, as of noon, there was a 2km crawl from Bentong to Karak due to the crash.
