SANDAKAN: About 20 crocodiles were caught and shot by the Sabah Wildlife Department this year, following attacks on humans that occurred in several districts in the State.
Its Director, Augustine Tuuga, said this action followed public reports regarding several incidents including in Kinabatangan and Sandakan.
The Department had also taken the drastic step for the safety of the public after the latest case in Lahad Datu.
