SANDAKAN: About 200 people attended the Iftar programme organised by Yayasan Sabah Group (YSG) at the Nur Al-Laili Mosque, Kg. Singkee, here, on Friday.
YSG also contributed development funds for the Nur Al-Laili Mosque.
The Iftar programme was a regular fixture on the YSG’s yearly calendar in giving charity to the less fortunate, providing foodstuff and meals to the needy whilst fostering kinship and friendship between YSG and the community.
Nur Al-Laili Mosque Chairman Suna Dori expressed his gratitude to YSG for choosing the mosque in hosting the programme.
“YSG was instrumental to the development and expansion of the Nur AlLaili Mosque where we congregate today.
“Today’s iftar programme re-establishes the mutual relationship between our community and YSG.
“We thank YSG for making all this happen while renewing the bonds of friendship and cooperation between YSG and us throughout the years,” said Suna.
Also present was Yayasan Sabah Deputy Director Datuk Sam Mannan.
