200 Units Of Ford Ranger StormTrak Now In Malaysia For RM182K

The Ford Ranger StormTrak arrives in Malaysia but in very limited quantities.

Sime Darby Auto ConneXion (SDAC) has brought in the new Ford Ranger StormTrak – a variant that builds on the underpinnings of the Ranger Wildtrak but adds a slew of exclusive accessories and aesthetic changes.

Aesthetics Of The StormTrak Scheme

The Ford Ranger StormTrak features a unique cosmetic colour scheme that is applied to both the vehicle’s exterior and interior. It gets 20″ wheels that are painted in matte-finish Asphalt Black with a single Race Red wheel insert.

The grille features the “StormTrak Scheme” grille pattern that help to distinguish its front fascia from the other Ranger models.

Inside, we see this red theme continue with Race Red stitching on the upholstery against MikoR suede inserts as well as some StormTrak logos on the seats.

Unique Accessories For Better Functionality

Setting the StormTrak apart from its rivals is a whole slew of accessories that come fitted from the factory. This includes Auxiliary Lamps that help to illuminate off-road paths ahead, Zone Lighting to brighten the surroundings and Cargo Lights to help with loading and unloading.

It is priced at RM181,888 on-the-road without insurance in Peninsular Malaysia and RM188,288, on-the-road without insurance in Sabah and Sarawak.
