The 2026 BYD Atto 3 is offered in two variants. The Ultra is priced at RM 125,800, while the Premium is priced at RM 138,800.

BYD Sime Motors has recorded over 1,000 bookings for the 2026 BYD Atto 3 within 10 days of its Malaysian launch. The company says this milestone mirrors the Atto 3’s launch back in 2022, when the model also achieved 1,000 bookings within the same timeframe.

According to BYD Sime Motors, the Atto 3 remains Malaysia’s all-time best-selling EV model, with more than 12,000 units delivered to date. The company also says the new Premium rear-wheel-drive variant has drawn strong interest following the facelift’s launch.

As a recap, the 2026 BYD Atto 3 is offered in two variants. The Ultra is priced at RM 125,800, while the Premium is priced at RM 138,800.

The major update is the new Premium rear-wheel-drive variant, which gets a rear-mounted motor producing 313 PS and 380 Nm. This allows the Premium to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 5.5 seconds.

It is paired with a 74.88 kWh Blade LFP battery, giving the Premium a quoted range of 600 km on the NEDC cycle. DC fast charging is rated at up to 220 kW, while AC charging has been increased to 11 kW.

The Ultra continues with a front-mounted motor producing 204 PS and 310 Nm, paired with a 60.48 kWh Blade LFP battery. Range is rated at 480 km on the NEDC cycle, while DC charging has been increased to 110 kW. AC charging remains at 7 kW.

BYD Sime Motors says its current network consists of 44 sales and marketing outlets, 25 aftersales facilities and 12 body and paint centres nationwide. The company also says it has a 95% parts fill rate to support customer service and EV ownership in Malaysia.
