
The Skill Development Centre, Directorate Extension Education, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), in collaboration with the Department of Microbiology organised a training course on “Preparation of Natural Vinegar and Low-Alcoholic Naturally Carbonated Beverages” for farmers of Punjab. In all, 22 trainees from different districts of Punjab attended the course, held under the guidance of Makhan Singh Bhullar, Director, Extension Education.
Giving information, Rupinder Kaur, Associate Director (Skill Development), said that experts provided information about the preparation of natural vinegar and low alcoholic naturally carbonated beverages.
Kulvir Kaur, course coordinator, highlighted the importance of the course and said that many students in Punjab were taking training in the preparation of natural vinegar from the PAU to adopt it as a profession and earn good profit. Technical expert of this course, Dr Keshani, explained the making of vinegar in a natural way.
During this course, various experts shared useful information with the trainees in a practical manner. On this occasion, Jaspreet Singh Khera, project director Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA), shared information about the benefits of the ATMA scheme.
