Kota Kinabalu: Sabah recorded 225 Covid-19 cases on Sunday, a dip from 262 the day earlier, while one death was recorded in Kota Marudu.
Sabah’s Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said the decrease is attributed a lower number of test samples and decreased positivity rate.
He said there were 2,130 samples on Sunday compared to 2,443 the day before while the positivity rate decreased to 10.66 per cent from 11.71 per cent on Saturday.
Kota Kinabalu topped the list with 84 cases, followed by Sandakan (26), Putatan (22), Penampang (18), Papar (15), Tuaran (15), Tawau (12) and Tenom (10).
“Eleven districts did not record any new infections,” he said in a statement, Sunday.
Masidi said 221 out of 225 cases were category one and two infections, while three were in category three and one in category four.
No new clusters were identified.
