Some of us are fortunate enough to have a headstart in life while others have to start from scratch.
In a viral post shared by famous preacher Ebit Lew, he tells the story of how he met a 23-year-old single mother who is also an orphan.
“I met Emy, a 23-year-old orphan and a single mother in the Kerinchi, Lembah Pantai area. She works as a FoodPanda walker and a part-time worker at a restaurant.”
“She has also separated from her husband,” he added.
Ebit Lew mentions that he was very touched when he saw how hard the young woman was working. When he approached her to talk to her, she was elated.
“I’ve always wanted to meet you, everyday I see you helping others and today Allah led you here. I always prayed to meet you and now that I did, I am thankful.”
In addition to that, the preacher also gave her a motorcycle which will allow her to pick up more jobs in the same amount of time.
The single mother was in tears when she received the motorcycle as she was saving up for one.
“I never expected to receive this, I was saving up for a motor so I can work more.”
Many netizens were very inspired by the young woman’s drive to make ends meet.
“How pitiful, she is also a single mother.”
“You’re beautiful and I hope that everything goes right for you when you take care and educate your child. I hope that you find a wonderful man who is responsible and will accept you and your child.”
“Allah will make things easier for single mothers. Take care of your child well and be strong. Allah will replace the hardships with something better. I have been there before.”
We certainly hope that Emy will be able to overcome these hurdles! With Ebit Lew’s help, it seems that it will be a little easier.
