All 266 foreign nationals inspected during an operation at Network School in Forest City, Johor, possessed valid immigration documents.
However, investigations will continue to determine whether they fully complied with Malaysia's immigration laws.
Immigration director-general Datuk Zakaria Shaaban said the inspection on July 14 involved foreigners from 40 countries.
The inspection was jointly conducted with the Iskandar Puteri City Council (MBIP), the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), the Johor State Secretary's Office and the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM).
"Initial checks found that all individuals inspected possessed valid immigration documents based on current records," he said in a statement on July 15.
Zakaria said further checks and investigations were continuing to ensure full compliance with entry conditions, the Immigration Act 1959/63 and other related laws.
He said every foreign national entering Malaysia was subject to immigration laws, with checks at the country's entry points conducted based on travel documents, relevant databases and available enforcement records.
He added that JIM would investigate any new information relating to identity fraud, travel documents, misuse of immigration facilities or breaches of immigration pass conditions.
"JIM will not compromise on any breach of immigration laws or misuse of immigration facilities. Individuals found to have violated the law will face enforcement action based on the outcome of investigations and existing legal provisions," he said.
Zakaria said JIM would continue working closely with the Home Ministry and relevant agencies to ensure all matters under their respective jurisdictions were thoroughly reviewed in accordance with the law to safeguard national security, sovereignty and the country's interests.
On July 14, Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said the Home Ministry had launched a comprehensive investigation into Network School following allegations that individuals had used second-country passports to enter Malaysia.
He said the probe would examine the identities and nationalities of those involved, the authenticity of their travel documents, the immigration passes issued and whether they matched the purpose of entry into the country, as well as compliance with immigration and other relevant laws.
