Manchester City midfielder Leroy Sane has undergone successful knee surgery.
BILD says the 23-year-old underwent successful surgery on Sunday on the cruciate ligament.
San broke down two weeks ago in the Community Shield against Liverpool at Wembley.
The winger is expected to return to the pitch next Spring.
As such, a transfer to Bayern Munich is now on hold. However, they could try again as early as January should Sane's recovery stay on track.
