Former Real Betis striker Ivan Perez is backing Nabil Fekir for success in Spain.
Fekir completed his surprise move from Lyon on Monday for a fee of just 19.75 million euros.
Perez has likened the deal to the arrival of Denilson.
Betis signed Brazilian Denilson from Sao Paulo in 1998 for a world record 31.5 million euros.
"You can compare the two signings because both were a real step forward [for Betis]," Perez told Radio MARCA.
