Sevilla defeated Real Betis in a passionate El Gran Derbi on Sunday night.
Sevilla emerged victorious as goals from Lucas Ocampos and Luuk de Jong sealed a 2-1 win against Real Betis at the Estadio Benito Villamarin.
The Argentine winger opened the scoring in the 13th minutes, but Betis were able to grab an equaliser through Loren Moren just before the two sides went in for the half-time break.
Ten minutes into the second half, though, De Jong showed why Sevilla brought him to the club as he fired past Joel Robles to net what ended up being the winner.
On the table, Sevilla jump up to fourth and go level on points with third-placed Atletico Madrid, while they are one point behind Barcelona and Real Madrid in first and second. For Betis, they sit 17th and are four points clear of Celta Vigo, who are one place below.
