ANOTHER sinkhole was detected about 50m from the location of the earlier sinkhole incident along Jalan Masjid India, Bernama reported.

The incident is believed to have occurred at about 2.30am following heavy rains last night.

However, a visit to the location found that the area had been completely sealed off by security personnel to prevent any untoward incident.

The public is also not allowed anywhere near the location.

The sinkhole last Friday caused a woman known as Vijayaletchumy, 48, from Kuppam, Andhra, India to go missing after falling into the eight-metre-deep hole with search and rescue operations entering its sixth day today. – August 28, 2024.
