YG Entertainment confirmed last year that the legendary K-pop queens would reunite for their 15th anniversary with a massive world tour spanning 2024 and 2025. Initially, the 2NE1 ‘Welcome Back 2024-25 Asia Tour’ skipped over Malaysia, leaving local fans heartbroken. But in a December twist, KL was added to the roster, giving local Blackjacks their long-awaited moment.

Now, the countdown is on for 1 February 2025, when 2NE1 will take the stage of Bukit Jalil National Hockey Stadium at 8 PM sharp. If you managed to snag tickets in the brutal online frenzy, congrats—now the real fun begins. Your next mission is to navigate the stadium like a pro and ensure you’re concert-ready.

That’s where we come in. From travel tips and parking hacks to packing essentials and setlist predictions, we’ve crafted the ultimate prep guide for the big day. So slip into your favourite 2NE1 t-shirt, grab your lightstick, and let’s get you ready to party with the K-pop royalty.

Part of Kuala Lumpur Sports City, the Bukit Jalil National Hockey Stadium is no stranger to hosting global superstars, having seen acts like Imagine Dragons and soon welcoming Maroon 5 and Green Day. The best way to get there? Public transport—it’s the quickest way to beat the infamous concert traffic.

The LRT is your go-to option. Jump on the Kelana Jaya line, switch to the Sri Petaling line at Masjid Jamek station, and ride towards Putra Heights. Hop off at Bukit Jalil station, and voila! You’re just a quick 4-minute stroll away from the stadium, or a brisk jog if you’re running late. The LRT will run extended hours until 11.50 PM, so you won’t have to fight your way through a post-concert traffic apocalypse.

If you’re planning to drive, brace yourself for the parking challenge. The Bukit Jalil National Hockey Stadium Parking Field has just 150 spaces—perfect if you’re an early bird or just really lucky. For the rest of us mere mortals, Parking Lots A, B, and C near Bukit Jalil National Stadium are a solid fallback, offering over 2,000 spaces combined. Parking fees range from RM10 to RM20, payable via credit/debit cards or Touch’n Go.

Here’s a breakdown of parking spots:

National Hockey Stadium Parking Field: 150 lots

Parking Lot A: 150 lots

Parking Lot B: 907 lots

Parking Lot C: 1,020 lots

Pro tip: Skip the parking chaos altogether by parking at Awan Besar LRT station and taking the train. It’s just two stops away, and you’ll thank yourself later when you’re not stuck in post-concert gridlock, questioning your life choices.

Packing for a concert is like preparing for battle—you need to be strategic. Bring too much, and you’ll hold up the security line. Bring too little, and you might be the one shouting I Am The Best with a dead phone. While official rules for the concert aren’t out yet, past events at the same venue, like the Imagine Dragons’ show, give us a good idea of what’s allowed and what’s not. These are the likely no-go items:

  • Outside food or drinks
  • Bags larger than an A4 size
  • Professional photography or recording equipment
  • Laptops or tablets
  • Helmets
  • Umbrellas
  • Laser pens or glow sticks
  • Pets
  • Weapons of any kind
  • Flammable items or fireworks
  • Cigarettes or e-cigarettes
  • Banners larger than A4 size. LED banners or banners with political/LGBT slogans are also not allowed
  • Glass bottles
  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Drugs
  • Selfie sticks or tripods
  • Ladders or folding chairs

One crucial thing to remember: your ticket is digital, so make sure your phone is fully charged and your e-ticket is ready to scan—each ticket allows entry for one person only.
