
Kota Kinabalu: Three men were jailed five years plus a stroke of the cane each for taking syabu.
Herrywan Jusit, 42, Awangku Pg Damit Pg Momin, 48, and Hisyamamiruddin Zulkepli, 33, pleaded guilty separately before Sessions Court Judge Elsie Primus, Monday.
Herrywan was arrested on Aug 23, last year, while Awangku and Hisyamamiruddin were arrested on Sept 10 and 9, last year after they were tested positive at the Beaufort police station.
They have several conviction records for taking drugs.

The court ordered the trio to serve the jail sentence from the date of their arrest.
After completing their jail sentences, the trio were ordered placed under police supervision for three years.
