Three people were killed and nine injured as an SUV collided with a truck, veered off the road and rammed into a restaurant on the Jaipur-Sikar National Highway on Wednesday morning, police said.
The accident took place near the stadium area in Chomu. A car parked outside the eatery was also damaged in the crash, they said.
Of the 12 occupants of the SUV, three — two women and a man — died, while others sustained injuries, police said.
The injured were rushed to nearby hospitals. The bodies of the deceased were kept in the mortuary of the Chomu government hospital for post-mortem.
