A tragic collision between a Perodua Myvi and an express bus claimed the lives of three individuals earlier today (May 30) along Jalan Kuala Krai-Gua Musang in Kampung Sungai Sam, Kelantan.
Myvi passengers pronounced dead at scene
According to Harian Metro, they received a distress call at 11.20am and arrived at the scene around 11.55am.
Upon arrival, they discovered a grim scene.
The Myvi had collided head-on with the express bus, leaving all three of its occupants, a man and two women trapped inside the wreckage.
Unfortunately, all three were pronounced dead at the scene and their bodies were handed over to the police.
Bus driver sustained minor injuries
The express bus driver sustained only light injuries and did not require emergency evacuation.
Rescuers had to use special tools to extricate the victims from the crushed vehicle.
