
Kota Kinabalu: Some 30 representatives from Sabah Football Association’s (Safa) affiliates were given a talk conducted by Sabah Sports Commissioner’s office led by its director, Sempini Langiton at a hotel here on Friday.
Safa assistant secretary general Azman Mastar representing secretary general Dato’ Jelani Hamdan to officiate the event said the one-day course will help to strengthen the leadership of its affiliates and improve the quality of their management.
“This is the main goal of the association in collaboration with the Sabah Sports Commissioner’s office to hold such a course because it is through such courses that the district FA can improve their administration and management to help the development of football in the State,” he said.
He also expressed his gratitude to the Sabah Sports Commissioner’s office for giving the talk to the participants.
Also present were Safa supreme council member Mustapha Tuah and executive secretary David Wisom.
Meanwhile, the affiliates are also warned of action taken against them if they fail to comply with every requirement required by the Sports Commissioner’s office, including submitting their annual reports.
