AROUND 300 international and local exhibitors are ready to showcase their innovative industry solutions and technologies for Livestock Philippines and Aquaculture Philippines 2026.
The tradeshow will be held on June 24-26, 2026, at the World Trade Center in Pasay.
Together with the Department of Agriculture (DA) as the host government agency, the theme of the twin event this year is “Modern Farming Practices, Bountiful Harvests: The Future of Livestock and Aquaculture.”
“The central theme highlights the importance of the events as a hub for innovation, education, and collaboration that would drive the livestock and aquaculture industries forward,” said event organizer Informa Markets.
“The agricultural economy is one of the key drivers of the Philippines’ economic growth, with the livestock, poultry, and aquaculture sectors serving as major contributors. These industries are vital for rural livelihoods, the food supply chain, and overall economic development. Meat consumption continues to rise due to the growing population and increasing demand for meat products in the market,” it added.
According to the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), the livestock and poultry sectors accounted for 33.4 percent of total agricultural production in 2025, while aquaculture has shown steady growth.
However, the livestock, poultry, and aquaculture sectors face numerous challenges. Among these are climate change and environmental risks, such as rising temperatures, water pollution, and unpredictable weather conditions, which are disrupting farming production.
Also, animal health remains a critical issue, with biosecurity and disease management being central to combating outbreaks of diseases like African swine fever (ASF) and avian influenza (AI), which threaten livestock and poultry production.
Additionally, the rising costs of essentials such as feed, feed ingredients, fuel, tools, and equipment are putting significant pressure on profit margins.
“This is where Livestock Philippines and Aquaculture take center stage as the events cater to providing actionable solutions to these industry challenges while helping discover new opportunities for business growth and innovation,” Informa Markets said.
“By bringing together key industry players and leaders, technology providers, government agencies, farmers and fisherfolks, the events ignite strong collaboration and knowledge-sharing which are all essential for addressing these critical industry challenges,” it added.
For Livestock Philippines and Aquaculture 2026, the organizer will conduct Continuing Professional Development (CPD)-accredited seminars, hosted by the Philippine Society of Animal Nutritionists (Philsan) and the Philippine Association of Agriculturists Inc. (PAA). The seminars will cover a wide range of topics, including sustainable farming practices, and advanced nutrition strategies.
And on Nov. 11 to 19, 2026, Livestock Philippines and Aquaculture Philippines will go to Cebu City, marking a significant step in driving innovation in the livestock, poultry, and aquaculture across the country.
