PENAMPANG: Fulfilling the 30 per cent quota of women’s involvement in decision-making roles depends on whether there is a sufficient number of women prepared to take on these roles.
Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (StarSabah) President Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey Kitingan said the party is conceptually ready to fulfil the quota however realising it may not be feasible if there are not enough women who are ready to do so.
“When we look at the needs of women (in StarSabah), they have asked the party leadership to offer them the opportunity to play bigger roles.
