A road accident on 24 November at around 5:15 PM has been making headlines recently, involving a foreign-registered car that rammed into several houses in Johor.
In the incident, a white vehicle with a Singaporean license plate crashed into four houses on Jalan Harimau, Taman Century, Johor Bahru, as confirmed by the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM).

In a statement, Johor Bahru Selatan District Police Chief ACP Raub Bin Selamat said the incident went viral and came to light yesterday (18 December).
According to him, further investigations revealed that the white Audi driver, a 32-year-old Singaporean man, lost control of his vehicle due to heavy rain.
The car skidded on the slippery road and crashed into four residential houses, damaging their front fences, walls, awnings, and gates. The driver, who suffered minor injuries, was taken to Columbia Asia Hospital for treatment.
Tests showed he was not under the influence of alcohol
Raub said an initial breathalyser test showed a negative result for alcohol, but the driver has since been issued a summons under Rule 10 LN 166/59 for failing to control the vehicle.
He added that investigations are ongoing and urged anyone with information about the incident to contact Sergeant Muhammad A’isamuddin Bin Rosli at 014-2549366 or report to the nearest police station.
